Terms of Service
Effective July 4, 2026
This page is maintained by the operator of Ledgerly ("we", "us") to set out the terms on which you may use the Ledgerly application and related services (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
Ledgerly is a personal finance and reminder tool. Features, availability and pricing may change at any time. We may add, modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the Service without notice.
2. Your account
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for keeping your credentials secure, and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction. Notify us promptly at ledgerlyreminder@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized use.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to: (a) use the Service unlawfully or to infringe anyone's rights; (b) attempt to probe, scan, reverse engineer, disrupt or overload the Service; (c) upload malware or content that is unlawful, misleading, or harmful; (d) use the Service to send spam or unsolicited messages; or (e) resell or commercially exploit the Service without our written permission.
4. Your content and data
You retain ownership of the information you enter into the Service. You grant us a limited license to host, process and display that content solely as needed to operate and improve the Service. You are responsible for maintaining your own backups of anything important to you.
5. Not financial advice
Ledgerly is an informational tool. Nothing in the Service constitutes financial, tax, legal, investment or accounting advice. You are solely responsible for your financial decisions and for verifying any numbers, reminders, categorizations or reports before relying on them.
6. Third-party services
The Service may rely on third-party providers (for example hosting, authentication, email delivery, analytics or AI providers). Their availability and terms are outside our control, and outages or changes on their side may affect the Service.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT REMINDERS, NOTIFICATIONS, CALCULATIONS OR SYNC WILL BE TIMELY, COMPLETE OR ERROR-FREE.
8. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, SAVINGS, OR FINANCIAL LOSS OF ANY KIND, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE SERVICE — EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) USD 50. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
9. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your breach of these Terms.
10. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access at any time if we believe you have violated these Terms or if operating your account creates risk or exposure for us or other users. You may stop using the Service at any time by deleting your account.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes we will take reasonable steps to notify you, for example by updating the effective date above or notifying you in-app. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
